Having met and spent quite a lot of time talking with Demetria, I have ascertained much about her personality and demeanour.

Demetria has a very strong sense of duty and discipline, but posesses a powerful sense of self and a small spark of rebellious spirit which, while potentially posing a threat to her integrity as a Commissar and as a servant of the Emperor, also allows her a greater understanding of the minds and thoughts of her charges.  It also allows her the courage to ignore certain 'suicidal' orders given by generals and commanders, which for the most part has worked to her benefit.

Her martial prowess and her unwavering desire to put her limited skill selection to good use often finds her pressing forward against opponents, even at impossible odds, and often with her squad behind her.  Despite a rocky start, she has found leading through inspiration rather than through fear produces better results, but she is not above the occasional beating to make sure her charges are indeed motivated.

She personally reports Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt of the Tanith 1st, Commissar Ciaphas Cain, and "Commissar" Conrad Raege of the Ragged Edges of Raege as her biggest inspirations in battle, and that despite being illiterate until being brought into the Schola Progenium, she has found a fondness for writing plays and other works of drama, and often quotes certain similar arts during battle.

She is reluctant, however, to explain much about her own personal life, and is especially defensive when asked why she chose to give herself her old gang's tattoo.

This is the first full human figure I've drawn in a long time without any reference guides (the only guide I had being the Commissar model I will be using to convert her into tabletop existance).  Surprisingly, it came out okay-ish.  Still got a lot of mistakes to fix up, but still, it's not bad.

This character will likely be the subject of a few fanfics, the occasional drawing, and will likely be included as an NPC in a game of Only War I'll be running after a long break from Dark Heresy.  I just hope I don't accidentally take the spotlight from the players.

Anyways, I'll go submit this then lie down for a while to keep my energy up a little.  Gonna try to stay up as long as I can without sleeping to try and fix my sleep schedule before university kicks off again.  Considering I'm a little under the weather, it'd probably be better for me to sleep, but eh, we'll see.
